melcom's FFmpeg Audio Normalizer v2.2.1 (GUI Edition)

Version 2.2.1 of melcom's FFmpeg Audio Normalizer is now available. This update focuses on refined encoding settings for AAC and OGG Vorbis, offering more explicit control over output quality and file size.

The tool normalizes the volume of audio files using FFmpeg and saves the processed file in the original directory with the suffix -Normalized. It features a graphical user interface (GUI) for straightforward operation.

Changes in Version 2.2.1

• 📅 Updated Build Date: August 29, 2025.
• 🎵 AAC Output: Now uses a constant bitrate (CBR) of 512k instead of relying on FFmpeg’s defaults.
• 🎶 OGG Vorbis Output: Now uses a target bitrate of 500k (managed mode) instead of the previous quality scale setting -qscale:a 10.

Note: These encoding changes aim to provide consistent, high-quality results. If you prefer the previous defaults or qscale:a 10, Version 2.2.0 remains available.
