► Exciting Things in the Works!

Hey everyone 👋

It’s been a bit quiet lately, so here’s a quick update! I’m currently working on several exciting music projects 🎶

First, I'm part of a collaborative release set to drop later this year or early next. Alongside that, I’m also crafting a brand-new solo album called "Klangwelten" — something very close to my heart.

Most of my time is spent learning and working with FL Studio, while also creating custom instruments and samples in OpenMPT using VST plugins. It’s a slow but creative process that keeps me inspired and evolving.

Rest assured: the new material is shaping up to be some of my best yet! I shared early previews with a good friend from the demoscene, and the feedback was amazing. 🙏

Announcing melcom's FFmpeg Audio Normalizer v2.2.0 (GUI Edition)!

Great news for music producers and audio creators! Version 2.2.0 of melcom's FFmpeg Audio Normalizer is now available, bringing significant improvements to your audio workflow!

This tool is designed to normalize the audio volume of any audio file using FFmpeg, saving the processed file in the original directory with the '-Normalized' suffix. melcom's FFmpeg Audio Normalizer is a frontend for FFmpeg (ffmpeg.exe).

What's New in v2.2.0 (GUI Edition):

🎚️ New Default LUFS Value: The default target loudness is now set to -14 LUFS instead of -10 LUFS, which is a more versatile standard value.
🎨 Improved GUI Styling: The Options dialog now has a consistent visual style with the main window.
🔄 New "Check for Updates" Menu Item: A new "Check for Updates" option has been added to the Info menu, linking to the website for easy update discovery.

► My New Track: Splintered Mindscape

I am thrilled to share with you my latest creation, Splintered Mindscape, a track that captures the splintered reality of my fragmented mind. Created using OpenMPT, FL Studio, and various VST instruments, Splintered Mindscape takes you on a surreal journey through the shards of my thoughts. It is an emotional experience that blurs the boundaries between reality and fantasy. This track is my second release, following Crumble's Theme, and marks my transition from OpenMPT to FL Studio.
