🔗 melcom's FFmpeg Audio Normalizer v3.1.0 (Feierabend Edition)
melcom's FFmpeg Audio Normalizer is a free Windows GUI for automatic loudness normalization using the EBU R128 standard, powered by the versatile FFmpeg engine. It supports MP3, WAV, FLAC, AAC, OGG, and more. Version 3.1.0 (Feierabend Edition) introduces professional-grade features like Linear Two-Pass normalization and high-resolution quality preservation.
I built this tool to make audio normalization simple and accessible — no command line required. Written in Python, it’s available in English, German, and Polish, each with a dedicated help file. Questions or issues? Contact me.

What's new in v3.1.0 (Feierabend Edition)?
This version marks a significant milestone, moving the tool towards professional-grade audio utility.
- Linear Two-Pass Normalization: Achieves professional results by preserving the full dynamic range (LRA) of the audio. Highly recommended for music mastering.
- Quality Preservation (WAV & FLAC): Automatically detects and preserves the original sample rate and bit depth (e.g., 24-bit/96kHz) of the source file.
- Metadata Handling: All ID3 tags and metadata (Artist, Title, Album) are now preserved across all formats.
- MP3 Compatibility: Forced ID3v2.3 standard for better compatibility with Windows and external players.
- Automatic Cleanup: Temporary work files are now automatically removed, even if a process is cancelled.

🔗 My Self Created Samples
Here you can find my self-created samples. All samples are available in .flac format. These samples can be used without any problems, for example in OpenMPT. However, if you want to use these samples in Schism Tracker, you will need to convert them to the .wav format.
To convert the samples, you will need FLAC. You can create a batch file to use the Flac.exe, or you can use Flac Frontend. I can also provide you with my batch file. Please write to me if you would like to have it.

There are currently over 200 .flac samples available. All files are in their original length. You can do whatever you want with the samples / instruments 🙂 But maybe you could give me credits 🤗 But it's not really necessary.

Highlighter with X is a compact userscript that lets you highlight any text on any webpage in yellow, green, or red, and remove the highlight instantly with a hover-activated “×” button.
